Sitting in the beat up chairs of the back room in assumption hall there was no one listening into the greatest thing to ever happen to our messily little school. cuing up the sound board and removing the auto playlist... which had 3.44 gig to much Dave Mathews Band on it, so that the mics popped on. I had even cued up nicks mic, though he had originally said that he wasn't gonna say anything on air. And just like that after a whole year of no broadcasts i was back on WDSR radio rambling about stupid little articles on that i had found on Digg.com 20 minutes before the broadcast.
Introducing the show and talking about some of the stories that i maybe talking about later and introducing the first guest i have ever had on my show, Nick Bertovich. setting up some music to play while we rambled and chitchatted we kept the topics stupid and the conversations inuendo filled. when we just couldn't hold the conversation strait we would cut to a song and click the mics off bowling over laughing as soon as we were free from the possibility of being overheard. the rest of the broadcast was littered stupid stories about "still alive" being introduced to rockband or a man in oho screwing patio furniture. finishing off with a story focusing on the allure of Rick Astley and included some online web clips of him talking about his new internet fame... all around a good time. the show went on for an hour and ten minutes after signing off me and nick agreed that this was a blast and that next year we have to schedule a show together.
but as for next week i will carry on alone but if you want to listen i am gonna try and find the live weblink to post on here later. on a side note you could also listen if anyone is on duquesne campus to WDSR 97.7 my show is at 7 on Tuesdays. be there or be hip to be square.
